How to clean your filter? To ensure optimal performance, your Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer should be cleaned and maintained regularly. We recommend cleaning the filter once a day for a professional salon. Check your filter for hair product residue and debris, or when the LED lights alert you. Maintain performance Unplug the hair dryer and allow it to cool before cleaning the filter. Remove any debris from the outer filter grille and internal mesh using a soft, dry cloth. Step 1 Firmly grasp the hair dryer handle and turn the filter cover counterclockwise. Step 2 Pull the filter cover downwards to remove it from the appliance. Use a soft cloth or soft brush to remove any dust or debris from the filter cover and mesh. Step 3 Do not use water to clean the mesh. Be careful not to apply excessive pressure to the mesh.
